Astra Door Controls are delighted to introduce you to our latest addition to the management team Matt Chadwick. Astra Door Controls has shown significant growth over the last few years which has led to a restructure of the business. We are looking to build on the successful launch of the 4000 series by introducing a couple of new products to the Market and someone with Matt’s knowledge and experience is integral for our future plans.
Matt’s varied Technical Manager role will involve working closely with Astra’s production team to develop production processes along with component testing and evaluation of components from its supplier base to ensure we continue to have a robust quality product that exceeds current expectations.
As a detailed, process driven engineer he is looking forwards to developing and evolving Astra’s current and future products through 3D design, virtual testing and evaluation using SolidWorks (CAD). Backed up with primary evidence from door set manufacturers and 3rd party tests along with Astra’s extensive in-house testing.
Matt is looking to develop partnerships not only with suppliers but with door set manufacturers and architects for integration of its future product range. As Astra have several ongoing projects which are going to change the way the door closers are perceived, operate and feel.
